ChatGPT vs Claude vs Gemini, for games

Every game here runs inside your own assistant, but the apps differ in how a game gets in. ChatGPT, Claude (with web search on), and Perplexity play a game straight from its link. Gemini (signed out) needs the card pasted in. Once the card is in, the rules are the same everywhere, and dice come from a printed tape the app can't fudge.

How this is checked. Every week a script opens each app signed out, through the same link a game page uses, and reads the reply for text that only the game card can supply: a card's opening ledger, and for a sealed game, a clue that exists only in its sealed answer file. Signed out is the floor; a signed-in app has at least the same tools. Last automated check: ChatGPT on 19 Oct 2026, Gemini on 19 Oct 2026, and Perplexity on 19 Oct 2026. Every game's card, and every sealed game's answer file, is also opened at the address its play prompt gives, in each app that plays from links: ChatGPT opened 29 of 29 cards and 17 of 17 sealed answer files.

Pasting won't help: the sealed file is the answer key.

A game's link loads the card with web search on, then waits for you to press send. A pasted card plays too. Claude shows no chat without signing in, so this column rests on the hand test. Each game can also be installed into Claude as a Skill from its page; it stays put on any plan once code execution is on under Settings → Capabilities.

It couldn't open a game's link when we checked, signed out. Paste the whole card instead: that plays. It didn't reach a sealed game's answer file, so play those in another app.
