Duels for ChatGPT, Claude & Gemini
Fast hidden-information duels — the answer is sealed before your first move, and you verify it after. Free, no signup — each game is a card you load into your own AI assistant.
A duel here is a short hidden-information game — a code to break, a fleet to find — where the hidden setup is sealed under a hash before you play. The assistant answers from a layout it was given, so it cannot move the answer once you start closing in.

Why the hidden setup is committed before your first move
Every hidden-information game rests on one assumption: the thing you are hunting was placed before you started looking. Played casually with an assistant, that assumption is false. Nothing was placed, so the hidden fleet can drift away from your shots and the secret code can quietly become whatever you have not guessed yet, and you would never see it happen.
Aqua Regia and Deadreckoning both write the hidden setup into a sealed file and publish its SHA-256 hash before release. The assistant referees against that file: your reading of an assay, your salvo onto a grid, is scored against a layout that existed before the chat did.
Both are short — 15 to 30 minutes — and both end with the reveal, which you can check at /verify/. Scoring is fixed on the card too: Deadreckoning clamps its score to 0–100 and a surrender scores zero, so no ending pays better than winning.
Questions about duels
What stops the AI from moving the answer as I get close?
The answer is not the assistant's to move. The code or the fleet layout is written into a reveal file and hashed before the card ships, and the assistant scores your guesses against that file. After the game you recompute the hash at /verify/ — a setup that had shifted during play would no longer match the commitment published before it.
How long does a duel take?
15 to 30 minutes, one player. They are built to fit a coffee break: a fixed number of guesses or salvos, a score at the end, and a reveal you can verify in a few seconds. Both are rated for all ages.
Can I replay them?
The sealed setup is fixed per version, so a replay of the same card is the same code and the same layout. The two duels are unrelated to each other, and the escape and word shelves use the same commitment method over different kinds of hidden answer.
