Trivia & quiz games for ChatGPT, Claude & Gemini
Updated
Quiz nights your AI hosts from a sealed answer key with a source behind every answer — it reads, waits for the table, and rules only from the key. Free, no signup. Each game is a ready-to-play prompt (we call it a game card) that you open in your own AI assistant.
A trivia quiz with an AI is only as good as its answer key. On these cards the key is written and sourced before release and sealed under a SHA-256 hash; the assistant reads each question, waits for the table and rules from the key instead of marking its own work.

Can ChatGPT host a fair trivia night?
An assistant asked to run a quiz writes the questions and marks them, and nothing checks the marking. When it is wrong it is wrong with confidence, and in voice mode it tends to read the answer before the table has finished thinking. Two truths and a lie has the same flaw from the other side: nothing fixes which statement was the lie, so it can be settled after you call.
Every card here fixes the key first. Snap-Apple Night, for Halloween, and The Paper Crown, for Christmas, each seal 25 answers, the other forms each one accepts and a source for every answer. The Liar's Almanac seals which of each round's three statements is the lie, with sources for the two truths and the real fact behind the lie. The assistant fetches that file when the game starts, so the chat has to be able to open a link, and it rules from the file: each ruling names the key's answer or reads the sealed note, so you can see what it ruled on.
The seal proves the key did not change after release; rebuild the hash at /verify/ after the game. It does not prove every ruling was right, which is why the rulings show their working. All three play at one screen. Snap-Apple Night and The Paper Crown take one player or up to four teams, every team answering every question; The Liar's Almanac takes one call per round from the whole table.
Questions about trivia & quiz games
How do teams play at one screen without hearing each other's answers?
In Snap-Apple Night and The Paper Crown every team writes its answer down, and one message carries all of them, so nobody answers after hearing someone else; the host rules on nothing until every team has answered or passed, and the progress line lists team names, never answers. In The Liar's Almanac there is one call per round: the table argues it out, the youngest says their pick first, and one person sends the letter.
Are these quizzes suitable for children and classrooms?
The content is all ages and no card asks for a name or any personal detail. Difficulty varies: the one-point questions in Snap-Apple Night and The Paper Crown suit primary-school children while several five-pointers are hard for adults, so mix ages on every team; about a third of Snap-Apple Night's points are on British and Irish customs, and The Paper Crown mixes American, British and world customs. The Liar's Almanac is built so that sounding odd is no clue to the lie, which makes it hard for a child alone; play it as a table.
Can we play by voice?
Start by typing, because the host has to open the sealed key from a link before the first question. Once it has loaded you can switch to voice in the same chat. Every card sets out how a spoken answer or call is given, so the host waits for the whole table instead of taking the first thing it hears.
